All You Need To Know about the excellent William Hill Cash Out Feature, also known as Cash In
William Hill has been one of the UK’s biggest & most popular bookmakers over the years. They were one of the first bookmakers to transition from high street stores to an online-based service, and then were subsequently one of the first to make a move to mobile and a dedicated app. It was no shock that they were at the forefront of the industry when it came to adding the cash out option to their business; they further expanded on this feature by adding ‘partial cash out’, which gave bettors more control over the outcome of their bets.
Whilst most bookies call this cash out, William Hill likes to be different and call it Cash In. Either way, it’s a great tool for any serious punter looking to get as much out of their betting as they can.
Have you ever placed a bet that was on track to win just to fall at the final hurdle? If this sounds familiar, you could’ve used the William Hill cash out feature to claim back a reduced amount on your existing open bets. Cash In is a feature available at most bookmakers in which you can claim back a reduced amount of your potential winning before the end of the match, based on the likelihood of the remaining wagers placed. Doing this does, unfortunately, settle the whole bet, meaning that all other wagers on that ticket are cancelled.
However, William Hill also offers a partial cash-out feature, this allows you to cash out on a specific wager on your open bet, and this is great as it allows all other wagers on the bet to continue as normal, but the partial cash-out amount is typically lower than the regular cash out option.
To put it simply, yes. William Hill does offer cash out.
Cash out or cash in my bet is a feature used by the majority of online (and some high street) bookmakers to improve your betting experience. Other bookmakers such as SkyBet, Betfair & bet365 all offer cash-out features. If you want to know more about this epic feature, then check out of dedicated Cash Out Guide.
Using the Cash In (or Cash out) feature with William Hill is very simple. After placing your bet, go to the “my open bets tab”. Here you will be able to see how much the cash out value of those bets is (if they’re eligible), by simply clicking the ‘cash in my bet’ option. Your bet will then be cancelled (ended early), and the amount will be instantly added to your funds.
If you are a William Hill plus member, you can take advantage of the William Hill cash out in a shop as well, meaning you will also be able to use your account in order to cash out in store for money. Cash In is available to use on both the William Hill site & William Hill mobile apps.
Nobody knows exactly how the exact value of the cash in my bet feature is generated. However, we do know it’s done by an extremely smart but complicated algorithm which is continuously updating to give you the most up to date market value of your bet. From first-hand experience, I can say that William Hills’ cash-out option does give one of the best cash-out values of all the major UK bookmakers.
Cash In is available in all betting markets; however, there are some scenarios in which cash out is not eligible. The most common being in horse racing, in which all cash out options are suspended as the race begins, making it impossible to cash out. So if you wish to cash out on a horse racing wager, ensure it is done so before the race starts.
Another situation in which the cash in my bet feature can be suspended is where bettors are using free bets from a William Hill Promotion. Due to the nature of the bet types, William Hill sometimes suspends bettors cashing out. However, this isn’t the case for every free bet, read the terms & conditions of the promotional offer to find out if your free bet is eligible for cash out.
Some bet types also cannot be cashed out on, William Hill allows this feature on a variety of bets, they do not offer this feature on ‘each-way’ bets, this predominantly affects horse racing bets and this does not affect William Hills football betting in any way.
Have you ever tried to withdraw your winning from your account and been hit with a 3-day verification wait? If you’ve used multiple betting sites in the past, the answer is probably yes. However, William Hill offers an instant withdrawal feature, sending funds straight to your bank account, if that bank account has been used to make a deposit in the past. To do so, simply click the account icon in the top corner of your screen, and you’ll see ‘withdraw funds’; you’ll simply need to confirm the amount you wish to withdraw & which bank account you want to receive those funds.
You can also use your William Hill plus membership to perform a partial cash withdrawal in store.

If you want to cancel your bet early and receive some of your initial stakes back, you can use the cash in my bet feature and receive the cash in value instantly, how to do this is explained above.
New players can also take advantage of promotional offers in which they can receive free bets, spins, or matched deposits. Players can use these free bets to bet on any market they want; however, they can only withdraw winning that exceeds the free bet value, so by winning £20 of a £10 free bet, you would be able to withdraw £10.

What sports does William Hill Allow betting on?
William Hill allows bets on a plethora of sports, ranging from football betting, horse racing all the way to e-sports & volleyball. As you’d expect, the more popular sports have more markets you can bet on. William Hill football markets go very in-depth, allowing the player to bet on aspects such as corners in a specific time frame, amount of cards given and total passes completed by a single player.
In contrast, less popular sports only give the player the option the choose a winner of the match, and maybe a few additional markets such as over/under on points. However, all markets are available to bet on at any point up to the final whistle using the William Hill bet in-play feature, allowing players to place bets while the game is live. This feature also allows you to keep track of the results as they are happening, whether you need to know the live scores of all the cricket games being played, the most up to date golf scores from the masters or simply how the Premier League stands before a matchday, William Hills in-play feature makes it easier than ever to perform.
