Three Great Bets To Place In 2020
There are so many major sporting events to still look forward to in 2020, which is great news for those who like to place bets on them.
We have looked through all of the upcoming action and have come up with three bets with good value.
Bayer Leverkusen to finish in the top four in Bundesliga (+120)
German champions Bayern Munich have been the standout team in Germany this season. They are on course for their eighth straight league championship success and are now long odds-on to wrap that up.
Outside of the race for the title, there is also a challenge on for the top four between those that ended the campaign inside the top qualifying for the Champions League next season.
Bayer Leverkusen are currently just outside those positions at the moment in fifth place, however, they should be backed to finish in the top four. They have German Bundesliga betting odds of +120 in that market where they represent good value.
Kai Havertz is the star player in the Leverkusen team; however, they are not just a one-man team. The young side have what it takes to end the campaign strongly and make a return to the Champions League next season.
Rory McIlroy to win the 2020 US Masters (+600)
World number one Rory McIlroy has been in excellent form over the last few months on the PGA Tour so expect 2020 to be a big year for the Northern Irishman.
McIlroy has won four Major Championships, but the US Masters is the only Major which has eluded him so far. The 31-year-old has the opportunity to complete his set in November at Augusta National Golf Club.
The British golfer recently partnered Dustin Johnson at the TaylorMade Driving Relief where they defeated Rickie Flower and Matthew Wolff in a playoff in Florida.
McIlroy is +600 in the US Masters betting. He has finished in the top 10 on five occasions at Augusta so he has some good form at the course. If he is in contention on the final day this year, he is going to take some stopping.
Judd Trump to win the 2020 World Snooker Championship (+250)
Judd Trump goes into the 2020 World Snooker Championship as the defending champion and, once again, he is the man to beat at the Crucible.
Trump has had an excellent 12 months in snooker. His game is going from strength to strength, and it would be no surprise if he dominates the leading tournament in the sport over the next few years.
The World Championship is a 16-day tournament and is a real attrition test. Trump proved he has what it takes to see that when he defeated John Higgins in the final 18-9 in 2019.
The world number one is +250 for a second straight title in Sheffield. Ronnie O’Sullivan and Neil Robertson are his biggest challengers; however, they will need to be at the very top of their games to have any chance against Trump.
Best of luck if you do decide to play any of the above selections in the respective competitions in 2020.
