4 Roulette Winning Strategies
Roulette is a chaotic casino game, probably the most chance-based game available. The variables at play are immense in number and the chances of winning are truly left to luck. There are strategies that will allow you to see success at the roulette wheel though, maximizing your winnings and minimizing your potential losses. As with most things related to gambling, we cannot guarantee your success using these strategies and must stress adjusting them to your situation as needed.
Slow gains by covering the playfield
The most achievable way to find success at roulette is to cover as many possible spots on the table. This gives you a greater chance of winning but it also cuts into your potential winnings as the individual bet is lower. Betting this way is a slow man’s gain system and not favored by many players who prefer higher returns on their bets.
Doubling down with the Martingale system
It may sound wild to double your bet when you lose but that is the basis of the Martingale system, which has been used in a variety of ways even outside of casino gaming. Start with a bet you are comfortable with, or the table minimum if there is one, and double it whenever you lose. Start with $20, lose, bet $40 the next time and so on. Only double when you lose, if you win simply bet that amount again. This method plays on the chance that you will win eventually if you keep playing. Obviously the Martingale system requires a large bankroll to implement effectively and is not for the faint of heart.
Take the opposite angle with the Reverse Martingale system
This version of the Martingale system is to lower your bet on a loss and increase it on a win. This strategy gives you a little more room to play on a smaller budget because you are not potentially losing as much money per loss and are winning more with each win. The Reverse Martingale is popular with novice players looking for small, almost guaranteed, returns on their overall time playing the roulette table.
For the die-hard thrill-seekers, Straight Up
If you are a person that loves the thrill of the unknown that a game like roulette can offer then this last strategy is for you. Straight Up is the art of betting a single number on the table. If you are thinking this is nuts just remember, on a single zero table this bet can yield you over 35 times your bet – potentially the highest paying play you can make on a roulette table.
Going Straight Up on a roulette table is the ultimate in thrills and it represents the highest risk you can take with your bet. While it’s easy to get caught up in the atmosphere created by making such bets in a land-based venue or holiday to gambling locations such as Las Vegas, the advent of online casino gaming, specifically live casino, allows you to still enjoy the thrills you get from being there in person, but with a more tactical detachment that you get from playing at home.
A game of chance with potential of high returns
Roulette is a game of chance, there are no guarantees that you will win. All you can do when playing is to understand your bet limits and work a system that you can incorporate easily. Using these strategies can increase the fun you have while playing roulette.
